BROOKLYN EAGLE (BOURBON)

Brooklyn Eagle

An acquired tasted is need ed for this one unless you love bourbon.

How to make:

4 parts bourbon (2oz./60ml)
2 parts triple sec (1oz./30ml
1 part sweet vermouth (half an oz./15ml)
2 parts fresh lime juice (1oz./30ml)

Mix (combine) all the ingredients with cracked ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into a cold (chilled) cocktail glass.

VELVET KISS (GIN)

Velvet Kiss

One of the great old timer drinks, but also a great tasting one.

How to make:

4 parts gin (2oz./60ml)
1 part creme de cassis (half an oz./15ml)
2 parts pineapple juice (1oz./30ml)
2 parts half-and half (1oz./30ml)
Dash of grenadine

Mix(combine) ingredients with cracked ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into a cold(chilled) cocktail glass.

That's it, have fun drinking and making it. Remember drink responsibly

First Post Welcome!!!

Hello everyone welcome to Booze Benders, I am known as Alco Man. My key role on this blog is to give you an in site to the world behind the bar.

I will give you alcoholic recipes for shots, cocktails, and wines. I will also endeavour to give you tips on drinking etiquette and what not to do. Sir Drinkalot and myself will also post handy tips on how to brew your very own beer, wine and spirits.

There will be pictures and some videos of behind the bar flaring (throwing bottles around while making drinks... the cool stuff) and also some funny stories about drunken episodes
